AMET Eligibility Criteria

Required Educational Qualification

The officials have released the AMET Eligibility Criteria 2024 on the official website. The eligibility criteria of AMET 2024 is a set of conditions that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for admission to the specific academic program offered by the institution. AMET offers courses like BE/BTech, M.Tech and MBA programs, the eligibility criteria also vary accordingly.

For UG Courses : Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the mentioned subjects. A relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks is applicable for reserved category. The combination of subjects will be different for different subjects. Candidates must check the official notification for more details.

For PG Courses : Graduate candidates with mentioned subjects or equivalent examination from recognized university. The combination of subjects will be different for different subjects. Candidates must check the official notification for more details.

AMET Entrance Application Fees

Candidates can pay the application form in online and offline mode in the form of Demand Draft/Net Banking. The application fee will be Rs 1000.

Procedure to Fill Online AMET Entrance Test 2024

Candidates can fill the application form by following these steps –

• First, visit the official website of the university.

• You then have to click on ‘Admission 2024-25’ available under the admission session.
• Read the instructions carefully and then click on the registration form.
• Enter the asked details and then click on the Register tab
• After registration, candidates have to login to the website.
• And start filling the online AMET entrance exam application form.
• Upload the details in the mentioned documents and pay the application fee.
• After successful payment of the application fee, candidates have to submit the application form.

AMET Exam Admit Card

The AMET call letter will be released by the exam authorities in online mode. After the completion of the application process, candidates can download their AMET hall ticket. Candidates have to use their application number and password to download the admit card. After downloading the AMET entrance exam admit card candidates have to check all the details carefully. If there is any discrepancy in the call letter, candidates can contact the concerned authorities.

AMET Exam Result

The officials will announce the AMET 2024 result in online mode. Candidates will be able to check the AMET 2024 result by logging in to the candidate portal on the official website. The result of AMET 2024 will be declared based on the marks obtained by students in the entrance exam. The steps to download the AMET scorecard are given below. Note that, only the candidates who will be declared qualified under the AMET result will be eligible for the counselling process.

AMET Exam Counselling

The mode of AMET entrance exam counselling is offline. The counselling dates will be announced on the official website. Shortlisted candidates after the entrance examination will have to appear for interview–counselling as per the requirement of specific programmes.

In the AMET counselling session, candidates have to bring their original documents for verification. Those who have a higher rank will be given priority for the available seat. Candidates applying for BE Marine Engineering will have to further qualify the Medical Fitness Test conducted by the authorities.
