Educational Qualification

As per TNPSC Group I Notification 2024, candidates who want to apply for the available posts of TNPSC must have a degree from any university. For more detailed information see official notification

Age Limit 

To be eligible for TSPSC Group 1 Vacancies candidates age limit should be within 01-07-2024 –

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age:
  • Deputy Collector: 34 Years
  • DSP (Category I): 34 Years
  • Assistant Commissioner (Commercial Taxes):
    • (i) For candidates possessing any degree: 34 Years
    • (ii) For candidates possessing a B.L. degree: 35 Years
  • Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies: 34 Years
  • Assistant Director of Rural Development: 34 Years
  • District Employment Officer: 34 Years
  • District Officer (Fire and Rescue Services): 34 Years

Note : Relaxation up to 5 years will be given to candidates belonging to MBC/DC, BC (OBCM), BCM SC, SC(A), ST and destitute widows of all communities.

Registration Fee

For ‘One Time Registration’ candidates have to pay a registration fee of Rs. 150 as per TNPSC Group I Notification 2024. Successfully registered OTR is valid for 05 years from the registration date.

Then candidates have to pay Rs. While submitting the online application form, Rs 100 will have to be deposited as examination fee. Then those who have not claimed duty exemption will have to pay Rs. 200 when they are shortlisted for main examination and interview.

Selection Procedure

As per TNPSC Group I Notification 2024, the selection of persons for Combined Civil Services Examination will be based on:

• The first step is to visit the official website of Tamil Naidu PSC
• Now on the homepage, in the ‘Candidate Corner’, you have to click on the ‘One Time Registration New User’ tab.
• First of all, register yourself by entering the details and your login ID as well as password will be generated
• Then come back to the homepage, you have to click on “Apply Online” tab
• You will be directed to the next web page
• On this web page you have to click on “Apply Now” tab
• See “Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group I Services)” and click on the link “Apply Now”.
• Enter your previously generated login ID and password
• Now start filling the application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee
• Finally, submit the TSPSC Group I Application Form and also keep a copy of it with you for further recruitment process.
